About
Erin Barnes grew up in Gates Mills, a small-town suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. She has a degree in Theatre from Case Western Reserve University and has also studied with the NYU Tisch School of the Arts study abroad program in Dublin, the National Theatre Conservatory, and the Harvard/Moscow Art Theatre Stanislavsky Summer School.
Before moving to Los Angeles, Erin spent a few seasons performing in the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival and then made her way to Chicago. There, she completed the Improvisation for Actors program at The Second City and performed with the Chicago company of the well-known improvised and interactive show, Tony 'n' Tina's Wedding. In LA, she's delighted to be able to call herself a company member of The Collaborative, The Antaeus Company and Theatre Banshee in addition to her work on camera.
Outside of her acting career, Erin loves baking, swimming, playing tennis, and organizing everything along her path. Some fun facts?Erin was an official "Conflict Resolution Manager" on her Elementary School Playground during recess time in 4th and 5th grade (yeah), and she has Wilton Method certificates in Cake Decorating! What's going on in her life right now? She's learning to play the AUTOHARP (she's excited, can you tell?) her boyfriend got her for Christmas! She's also trying to eradicate the word "like" from her vocabulary ... slap her wrist if you, like, hear her say it.
